New look and title for the blog, 'Dos Calles' is now launched!
Welcome to our recently updated blog that is now known Dos Calles. The blog is part of the ´Grupo Andaluz´ and is a continuation of a project started by Magee and Haslett in 2011. Dos Calles (Two Streets) shows our different, yet sympathetic, approaches to photography. Below is the very first post. More to come soon!

Olive Trees in Bobadilla, Experiments With Infra-Red Film
Here are some experiments with infra-red film. The film reacts more to heat than to light so the green foliage appears light and the blue sky turns dark. The film used was Ilford SFX 200 in combination with a very dark infra-red filter, not true infra red but the effect is very similar.

Dark skies and storms in Andalucia, most unusual for June! This is not infra-film but the lighting conditions make the scene look similar to infra-red shots.
