Some new stuff by Vincent

After a long time of being very inactive with this blog and my partners I finally got around loading up some new material. The sunset scene is shot at Zahara de las Atunas after a great job nearby in the province of Cadiz. While heading home, I passed again the refinery at Gibraltar - San Roque and decided to explore this magical place (finally after 7 years of passing it) and had a few shots made....--V

Malaga Sugar Factory, More Photos

The abandoned factory is surrounded by a field with grazing horses. On my second visit to the building I was joined in the vast machine hall by about 15 of the fine beasts.

Manger

Most of the windows and doors are bricked up, ideal canvases for graffitti artists.

Abandoned Sugar Factory, El Tarajal, Malaga, April 2010

The following photos were taken using a Bronica SQ-Ai camera with 50mm lens and tripod. Photos shot at F22 with Ilford HP5 400 ASA film developed in Ilford Perceptol.
Many thanks to Vincent de Vries (http://www.holandaluz.com/) for the loan of the camera!

Inside the main machine hall. Horses graze inside and outside the building, this gives it a really special atmosphere.
